EurOPDX Research Infrastructure Trans-national access (TA) program

Trans-national access (TA) offers academic and industry researchers from Europe and worldwide the opportunity to remotely access the PDX models, services, and expertise of the EurOPDX Research Infrastructure (RI). As part of the EDIReX grant, three TA calls will be launched between 2018 and 2020.

1st call for EurOPDX TA - 31st January 2019 CLOSED - Projects underway

2nd call for EurOPDX TA - Opening September 2019 - visit: https://www.europdx.eu/europdxri-ta

3rd call for EurOPDX TA - Opens Spring 2020.

For further information, including a “guide for applicants” and “application forms” when each call is open: visit: https://www.europdx.eu/europdxri-ta

Applications for Trans-national Access (TA) grants are evaluated by an independent committee of experts, and projects are selected according to scientific excellence and impact through an objective scoring system. Users whose projects are selected for funding will still need to sign a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) with the owners of the chosen PDX model(s) - this will be facilitated by the EurOPDX RI management team.

From the 2nd call onwards, three types of access will be provided, and will be available through the each of 6 infrastructure nodes of the EurOPDX RI:

SAMPLE = shipment of frozen PDX tumour samples to selected users.

DEPOSIT = deposition of PDX models into the repository and infrastructure biobank.

TEST = the performance of in vivo experiments on PDX models with the users’ treatment of choice.
